Dr. Khushi Dhaliwal is a Board-Certified Family Medicine Doctor at Sunstate Doctors Medical Group, who has had the privilege of serving the Sun City Center community since 2012.
Dr Dhaliwal’s medical journey began at MGR Medical University, where she earned her degree in medicine. She went on to complete a residency training in Family Medicine at West Virginia University’s Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, West Virginia. Today, she maintain hospital privileges at both South Shore Hospital here in Sun City Center and St. Joseph’s Hospital-South in Riverview, which allows me to stay closely involved in my patients’ care when they need it most.
At Sunstate Doctors, her focus is on delivering comprehensive, preventive, and primary care- especially for our senior population. She works closely with each of her patients to manage chronic conditions such as diabetes, ‘heart disease, and high blood pressure while also emphasizing proactive wellness, early screenings, and lifestyle support to help you stay healthy and independent for as long as possible.

Jami Martinez, ARNP is an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner, who joined Sunstate Doctors Medical Group in 2017. She is certified in Family Medicine. She obtained her nursing degree from the Chamberlain University School of Nursing. She went on to complete her training in multiple health care settings. She previously worked as a LPN followed by advancing her education to become a RN before she returned to school to obtain her ARNP. She has practiced in the Sun City Center community in short-term rehab, long-term care, cardiology units, and neurology units since 2002.

Hello, I’m Dr. Amy Kwok, a Board-Certified Family Medicine Doctor, proudly serving the South Shore communities of Sun City Center and Wimauma since joining Sunstate Doctors in 2022.

My journey into medicine began with a passion for science and service, earning a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from Simmons College in Boston, Massachusetts. I went on to receive my medical degree from the University of Massachusetts Medical School and completed my residency training at the prestigious Brown Family Medicine Residency Program in Pawtucket, Rhode Island.

With deep roots in comprehensive family care, I enjoy building long-term relationships with patients and helping them thrive at every stage of life. I focus on preventive care, chronic disease management, and empowering patients with the knowledge and support they need to live healthier lives. Whether it’s managing a chronic illness, scheduling an annual wellness visit, or navigating new health concerns, I’m here to guide you every step of the way.

Hi, my name is Nirali Patel, PA-C and I am a Nationally Certified Physician Assistant and I bring compassionate, comprehensive care to every patient I serve. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences in Orlando, Florida, and continued my education at Nova Southeastern University in Davie, Florida, where I received her Master of Medical Science in Physician Assistant Studies.

I have clinical experience across a wide range of healthcare settings-including critical care, primary care, and geriatrics-which allows me to manage both simple and complex medical conditions with skill and confidence. My training has prepared me to partner with patients on every step of their health journey, from diagnosing and treating chronic illnesses to coordinating specialty care and helping patients make lifestyle changes that support long-term wellness.
